Terms of Use

Effective from 13 May 2026. Version 1.0.

1. About these Terms

These Terms of Use (Terms) govern your use of Iris by Let's Grow Together (Iris, the Tool), a visual planning tool for paediatric allied health practice provided by Let's Grow Together (LGT, we, us, our). By creating an account, accessing or using Iris, you (you, the user, the clinician) agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you are accessing Iris on behalf of an organisation (for example, a private practice or a not-for-profit), you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms, and references to you include that organisation.

2. About Iris

Iris is a browser-based workflow aid that supports clinicians and families during service planning and review meetings. It helps users articulate goals, select and record outcome measures, and visually map the systems and supports around a child.

Iris is provided as software-as-a-service. We may update, modify, or improve Iris from time to time.

3. Iris is not a clinical record or decision support system

This clause is important and you should read it carefully.

Iris is a documentation and workflow aid. It is not clinical decision support, a clinical record, or a medical device. The clinician using it retains full professional responsibility for clinical judgement, record-keeping, and compliance with their regulatory, professional, and organisational obligations including but not limited to the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), their relevant professional body (for example, Speech Pathology Australia, Occupational Therapy Australia, the Australian Physiotherapy Association, the Australian Psychological Society), the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission where relevant, and their employer or practice. Templates, libraries, and example wording provided in Iris are starting points only and must be reviewed and adapted by the clinician for each individual family.

Iris is not registered as a medical device with the Therapeutic Goods Administration. You acknowledge that Iris is not intended for diagnostic use, clinical decision support, or any use within the regulatory definition of a medical device.

4. Eligibility and accounts

To use Iris you must be at least 18 years of age and a registered or enrolled student of an allied health or related discipline practising or training in Australia. You are responsible for ensuring the information you provide when creating an account is accurate and up to date.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must notify us promptly of any unauthorised access.

Each subscription tier has a defined number of seats. Sharing of credentials beyond the licensed seats is not permitted.

5. Subscription, fees and payment

Subscription tiers and fees are described on our pricing page and at sign-up. Fees are quoted in Australian dollars and are exclusive of GST. GST is added at checkout.

Subscriptions are billed annually in advance and renew automatically at the end of each subscription term unless cancelled. We will email you a renewal reminder at least thirty (30) days before each renewal.

Payment is processed through Stripe. By providing payment information you authorise us (via Stripe) to charge the applicable fees.

6. Cancellation and refunds

Iris is offered with a 14-day free trial. To start the trial, you provide a valid credit or debit card at sign-up. No charge is made during the trial. Your subscription automatically converts to paid at the standard tier price when the 14-day trial ends, and your card is charged at that time. You can cancel through the Stripe Customer Portal at any point during your trial to avoid being charged.

If you do subscribe, you may cancel auto-renewal at any time through the Stripe Customer Portal. Cancellation stops your subscription from renewing at the end of the current term. You retain full access to Iris until the end of the term you have already paid for.

Fees paid for the current subscription term are non-refundable. We do not offer mid-term refunds.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) or other applicable consumer protection law. Where the ACL requires a refund or other remedy, we will provide one.

7. Acceptable use

You may use Iris only for paediatric allied health practice and related professional purposes. You agree not to:

  • use Iris for any purpose outside paediatric allied health practice;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of Iris;
  • scrape, copy, or redistribute Iris's templates, libraries, or other content for resale, public distribution, or commercial purposes outside your own clinical practice;
  • use Iris to develop a competing product;
  • share your account credentials with anyone outside the licensed seats of your subscription;
  • use Iris in any way that breaches applicable law or the rights of any other person;
  • attempt to access, interfere with, or disrupt our systems or other users' use of Iris.

8. Intellectual property

Iris, including its software, design, templates, content libraries, ecomap framework, and other materials, is owned by LGT (or its licensors) and is protected by Australian and international intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Iris in accordance with these Terms during your subscription term.

Content you create using Iris (your goals, measures, ecomaps, and exported documents) is your intellectual property and the intellectual property of the families with whom it was created. We do not claim ownership of your clinical content. We do not access, store, or transmit your clinical content beyond what is technically necessary to deliver Iris to your browser.

9. Privacy and data

Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Statement, which forms part of these Terms by reference.

In summary: Iris does not collect, store, or transmit any clinical information about children, families, or sessions. Clinical content you enter remains in your browser and is destroyed when your session ends. Account information (email, name, organisation, payment details, practice settings) is held to operate your subscription.

10. Third-party services

Iris relies on third-party services for authentication (Clerk), payment (Stripe), and hosting (Cloudflare, via Lovable). These services have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of these third parties beyond ensuring they are appropriate for the function they perform.

11. Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Iris is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that Iris will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

Without limiting the above, we make no warranty regarding the clinical or professional appropriateness of any specific use of Iris. Iris is a workflow aid only; clinical judgement remains your responsibility.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any guarantee, condition or warranty implied by law (including the Australian Consumer Law) that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of Iris is limited to the amount you have paid for your subscription in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special loss, including loss of profits, loss of business, loss of data, or loss of goodwill.

Nothing in this clause limits any liability that cannot be limited under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any third-party claim, loss, or damage (including reasonable legal costs) arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of Iris, including any clinical use beyond the Tool's intended purpose.

14. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these Terms, including by misusing Iris, by failing to pay applicable fees, or by using Iris in a way that creates risk to other users or to us.

You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription. On termination, your access to Iris ends at the end of your paid term. Account information is retained for the period described in our Privacy Statement and then deleted.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Where changes are material, we will give you reasonable notice (typically by email and through Iris) before the changes take effect, and may require you to re-accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree to material changes, you may cancel your subscription before the changes take effect.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.

Before commencing legal proceedings, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute in good faith by direct discussion. If a dispute cannot be resolved within thirty (30) days, the parties may proceed to mediation through a recognised Australian mediation provider before commencing court proceedings, except where urgent injunctive relief is required.

17. General

If any part of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remainder remains in full force and effect.

Our failure to enforce a right under these Terms is not a waiver of that right.

These Terms (together with the Privacy Statement) form the entire agreement between you and us in relation to Iris.
